Another passthrough dungeon, Golem tower is an interesting one at that however,
The main quest you'll have to concern yourself with is killing Stone Blader Raido four times, hes more or less the first Mini boss you'll meet if you're new to this game. He can utilize superarmor and unlike the normal golems his armor won't self-destruct upon killing the commander, he has 2 damaging ranged attacks that you'll probably want to avoid, rush him first in the room and put him out of his misery. Otherwise, most everything can be gotten just rushing or 2 fulls, the dungeon itself is quite straightforward with the boss alternating from the left to right room on occasion and vice versa.
This dungeon is relatively simple in that although the golems have burly armor and superarmor, they can be stripped into a basic form killing the golem commanders, which are usually situated behind em somewhere. Make a charge and kill the little beast, fair warning however, even though their armor will be shaken off, their HP will reset, so if a golem is close to death it might be simpler to dispatch it with the armor on.
Note from Wonder: Make a mental note that the armored golems are susceptible to magic, while the ghosts are susceptible to physical attacks, use this to your advantage.
You'll encounter puppetmasters in this dungeon as well, the same rules apply with the exception the Ice Dolls won't be there. Generally the room adjacent to the boss will hold the ghost of golems and a fairy if you need it. Don't bother trying to kill Exodus or Scholar golems, just go straight for the commander, otherwise you'll end up wasting mp and time on these bothersome foes as they damage on contact and basically will just make life difficult.
BOSSGold Golem Platoni
Actually, this guy happens to be as easy as Lakius, the trick is knowing how to fight him, kill the commander and clear the room firsthand, the boss is certainly easier without his hos following him around, once that's done:
Melee: one of the battles you'll come to enjoy, simply rush Platoni and get this, if you can get in the middle of his bulk and stay there, he can't hit you, furthermore if you combo continually you'll interrupt his attacks, with backstep you could kill Platoni in one large combo if you so desired. The only thing you'll want to watch is his ground attack, which summons four of the exploding rocks Dogrie used. Backstep further in to avoid that.
Magic/ranged: This can either be a cinch or a pain in the ass depending on the class you've taken and how you planned to go about this, xxxxx spam inside its innards is a possibility but it might take awhile, if you do decide to pull out the heavy artillery remember that Platoni is apt to charge you with a rush attack that has quite a large range. Use your axis well and if you see him raise his fists in the air, move.
Note from Twin:: Something I noticed: When Platoni rears back just before he does his charge attack, he goes into a sort of reflective state. Certain projectiles, mainly Gunner bullets from an autogun, revolver, musket, or the gatling gun will bounce off of him and hit you or your party mates. If your playing a Gunner with one of those weapons, watch Platoni carefully and hold your fire when he rears back.
In all honesty though you shouldn't be shooting him when he does. You should be running away lest you get your ass run over (and shot in you don't take my advice).
Note from Koni: Another thing, all bosses regen heavenly much if they're out of aggro
range, and platooni's charge attack is just enough for that. He will
actually charge so far away that this massive regen starts!
So once he charges, run after him, or you might notice he already
regenerated a bar before you face him next.
Another thing, occasionally theres a green fairy behind platoni in the top box or middle box (different maps) if you find yourself in a jam don't be hesitant to retreat and grab it.
