Let's kick this off with an easy one.
Dragonoid might look and sound intimidating to any new lvler but its a fun dungeon and its your first glance at the (arguably) almighty GSD!
The only part that can alternate on the map is the boss unless you're running it with GSD in which case you'll want to do full anyway, free xp. The boss can appear directly behind the cross junction on the right side when you enter the room OR he can appear 2 rooms to the left in the fork room. On that subject, For the Lorianne quest she'll always appear in the room opposite to the boss, example is if the boss is Boss < room < fork on map she'll be directly to the right of you in that configuration.
The mobs tend to drift back and forth and aren't really aggresive. Only ones that even have super armor are the blue small dragons. The biped ones will float around and drift in your direction upon aggro, usually slow enough for you to destroy them as they come up.
Note from Twin: Louis Sermillions, the little blue dragons, are little more than fodder to you, but they do have one thing that could be annoying to new players. When you see them flap their wings furiously, they have a chance of performing a dash attack thats super-armored. They can do this from a reasonable distance and they flay quite fast, which means you they can interupt a combo without you seeing them coming. Just watch for when they start flapping furiously and take caution.
You also need to know to the function of the statues, mainly color coding and what shoots what, Blue shoots ice which can freeze, red shoots damaging flames that can wittle away your hp in seconds, light fires a single shot of energy and purple don't do anything, the purple have a chance to drop gems such as spinels and whatnot so it can't hurt to demolish em, as for the colored statues, simply removing the head negates any further attacks.
As for Lakius, I will be using a friend's guide to this fight, credit goes to Koni.
BOSS Lakius
Dragonoid nest
Note from Koni:Yes, battling Lakius sometimes is a pain for soloist lv 16s etc, but there's a tiny trick that makes you win every time. No matter where
Lakius is, his room always contain fountains. A destroyed fountain,
can be passed over by you, but not by mobs, but yet they treat it
as something they can move over. So if you destroy a fountain,
and align lakius on the destroyed fountain, you can hit him to stay
on that lane. Then run over the destroyer fountain, and Lakius will
try to chase you. He will get stuck on the destroyed fountain, and
keep trying to chase you, so you can maul him with whatever
ranged or semi ranged attacks you have safely without him counterattacking.
Even though, his AI knows that if he cannot move, he must change lane,
so if you hitstun him or knock him down, this function resets, so
don't stop hitting him.
This thingie works goodie with any ranged class, or all classes
for that sake.
If you have any sort of ranged move, (neutral, chaser, etc) that can hit from distance and knock him down, you can lock him into an almost infinite loop of jumping and electro countering, when he splits just line the two up and go back to standing just out of range and attacking.
